Where are you based?
I live in Palestine, TX but service all over the US as well as provide Destination weddings/ sessions services. Locations over 40 miles from palestine there is a $1 fee from Palestine to the location added to your Invoice. Weddings do include traveling in several packages.
Do you have a studio?
Yes! My studio is located out of our home 111 Devonshire ln., Palestine TX 75803
What type of sessions do you photograph?
I enjoy photographing all session types but documenting every season. I specialize in intimate family, kids, maternity and newborn photography. My hear is engagements, weddings, events (baby showers, birthday parties, etc.), head-shots and extended family sessions.
What’s your style?
I have a non-traditional shooting style. I consider my work a beautifully balanced blend of posed and lifestyle photography. I gently guide my clients throughout the session to create a variety of natural emotive imagery. I'm a lover of details big and small. I gravitate towards capturing moments that make you feel something.
When do you schedule sessions?
Outdoor sessions are scheduled 1-2 hours before the sunsets or close to sunrise. This is when lighting is best. The sun is low, soft and luminous. Studio sessions are scheduled betwen 8am-5pm.
What locations do you use?
I suggest locations based on your ideas, wants or I can scout places execute your vision for the session. Things to consider: Are you interested in studio, grassy field, lake view, city or woods? Perhaps somewhere more unique like an peach orchard, greenhouse or tree farm. Once that’s decided I have several spots to recommend to fit that look.
Can I print my images myself?
Yes. All my sessions include edited/retouched images + print release via digital download. You’re encouraged to order professional prints directly from your online gallery for quality purposes. I want to work with you! Your images are copyright released.
How do I book my session?
Contact me by email jenniferwillardphotography@yahoo.com or phone. Review the Prices under the Session tab on her send me which session you would like to book. A booking link with availability and steps to proceed with the booking process will be sent to follow. The contract and half of your session will be your deposit must be paid to secure a date/time.
Do you refund?
No but you can use your money towards another session when you are ready. I won't let it expire. I don't charge for reschedules but please give me 24hrs if you need to reschedule.
What do I wear?
For maternity sessions we do have a wardrobe available that you can see on our Instagram page under our tabs. I can send you some ideas for family sessions. Pinterest has great examples how to coordinate wardrobes as well.
How many images are edited?
All images are edited, and you will receive 15-30 images for additional edits which is where you tell me you need blemishes removed, liquify and images turned to BW.
How many images do I receive?
All images from your session that don't have people blinking or image blur.
How long does it take to get full galleries back?
I takes 2-4 weeks for sessions and 2-4 months for full wedding galleries.
Do I bring props?
I have tons of props but if you have a certain theme and I don't have those props you would like please bring them. Alot of the times I will have them. Cakes and balloons you provide.
Should I get my hair and makeup done professionally?
Yessss! I highly recommend professional hair and makeup. Contact and book with one of the best around.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Cloudy weather is not a problem. However, if it rains, snows, hails, etc. I will contact you as soon as possible to postpone or reschedule. I’m excited to see my photos! When will they be ready? Eek... I’m excited to share them! Galleries are generally completed within 3-4 weeks for all sessions except for weddings. During busy seasons weddings take 2-4 months typically they are 2-3 months with sneak peeks sent withing the first couple weeks from wedding.
